We have some amazing Core Flyte customers! I've written about many of them in the past, and today, I wanted to share the story of James Carter.
Growing up, James battled ADHD. The medication he took to help mitigate his symptoms and help him focus had a side effect of massively reducing his appetite. So, James was skinny. Very skinny. He was bullied for being small and felt like he didn't fit in.
After high school, James went off his ADHD medication and his appetite exploded. As a result of poor diet, increased stress, and depression, he ballooned to over 350 pounds. James was smoking a lot, drinking a lot, and didn't value his life. At times, he considered taking his life.
Fortunately, James discovered exercise, which transformed his life in ways he could never imagine. He lost well over 100 pounds, and, more importantly, fell in love with developing creative exercises. James calls himself a "student of movement." His popular videos on social media caught the eye of the producers of NBC's American Ninja Warrior. On Monday night, James' story was shared with millions as he took on the American Ninja Warrior obstacle course in Indianapolis, Indiana. James is the heaviest person to ever compete on the show.
People enjoy watching James and his creative videos because they are amazed with his ability to move his 275-pound body and they love seeing his joy as he moves. I'm sure you can relate after watching his routines. I'm proud to know James and consider him a friend, and I'm proud that he loves his Core Flytes!
